Biography	Dr. Toshiyuki Suzawa, through a nearly 10 year’s discovery research in protein chemistry at Kyowa Hakko, received his Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2003.  Since then, he has been involved in process development activities (cell line development, cell culture and purification) at the company as a head approx. for 20 years.  He has a lot of experiences in process development activities in biopharmaceutical field such as monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins from early-stage to late-phase products as well as scientific support of commercial LCM products, accompanying preparations of a lot of regulatory filing documents.  During the period, he has been a general manager of Production & Development Center at Fujifilm Kyowa Kirin Biologics Co., Ltd. and experienced with biosimilar development works for a couple of years.  Based on his expertise, he joined Technology Working Committee of Biopharmaceutical Committee in JPMA during 2015 – 2019 and also involved as an expert of Q12 EWG.  He worked for AMED research groups such as Q12 implementation in Japan, renewal of biosimilar guidance, and continuous manufacturing guidance for Biopharmaceuticals.  He was also a visiting professor in Gunma University for several years.  There are lot of publication on peer reviewed articles, patent applications, and conference presentation activities so far.  A detailed CV can be provided upon your request.
